Thanksgiving Fun...

We hosted a very merry Pick Thanksgiving back in November. Andrew's brother Aaron and his family (from Colorado) and Andrew's parents all made the trek to our house. We really enjoyed getting to see everyone. It had been Christmas 2008 since we'd seen Aaron and family and hadn't seen Andrew's parents since May. We also did a skype call with Lucas so he could join in (although he only got to enjoy virtual turkey dinner!).

As usual, the turkey turned out great - our oven is very efficient! I also tried my hand at baking a couple pumpkin pies. They turned out soo well that I was inspired to bake two more pies (one pumpkin and one apple) to bring to the Pick Christmas. Thanks Jean for supplying the pie crusts for the two xmas pies! Jean is also the stuffing expert (since Andrew loves the jiblet action) and she did a great job getting all that put together!

We watched the movie "Up" twice during the weekend (once with Andrew's parents and once when the nephew's arrived on-scene!). It's a good one if you haven't seen it yet - check it out!

Both Owen and Sebastian are growing like weeds! They got to spend lots of quality time with Andrew building lego creations, computer games and watching Andrew race his gas-powered RC car! All that fun boy stuff!
