Snow business...

December was a pretty cold, snowy month here in Minnesota. We were surprised when we arrived back from our Christmas family travels to realize how much more snow we had here than back in Wisconsin. Maybe this is our year for the snow pile-on?? We'll see! After Christmas, the deep freeze set in and we're just starting to come out of that. Think it might be 30+ on Andrew's birthday this saturday - if so - that'd be a real treat! We're both ready to unthaw a bit!





While I'm not a fan of the winter driving experience, we made the most of the snow by using our new (slightly used) snow blower to work; the thing is a BEAST, but certainly does the job well! Many thanks to one of my coworkers for the great deal on this machine - Andrew is having soo much fun using it! I'm still a little gun shy with the thing (really must apply some brute force to turn it) but have used it a little (with Andrew supervising!). Sure beats breaking your back using a shovel in the heavy snow.
