Andrew and I had a great Christmas holiday. I have been off of work the past couple weeks (vacation time!); while Andrew worked three days the week of Christmas and then a couple days last week.
We spent Thursday (Christmas eve) through Saturday morning in Platteville with the Pick family and had a wonderful time. Even caught some Macgyver episodes with Andrew's parents which was a complete blast from the past! Loved it! Quite a few Picks (and Stratford's) went for a sledding adventure on the Saturday morning near the golf course in town (photos below). There was lots of fresh powder and it was about 30 degrees so a perfect day for sledding! Think it had been about a decade since most of us had done any sledding - a total hit!
The Rippchen Christmas was also a very merry one this year. In addition to my parents, Rae Dawn, Chet and Anita, Ryan and Renee, we enjoyed getting to spend some of our holiday time a few new faces including our new niece (Rae Dawn and Chet's second daughter), Renee's boyfriend and Ryan's girlfriend. We really enjoyed getting to see everyone!
Our niece Anita kept us on our toes - she is a bundle of energy! I continue to be amazed with her large vocabulary! It was fun to also get to spend more time with baby Maya. She is sure a sweet little girl! Here's a collection of photos from the Rippchen Christmas get-together!
