Mn River Flood Pics

The Minnesota River in Chaska was bursting at the seams this past weekend. We took our normal 45 minute walking loop around Chaska last friday and saturday mornings and were amazed at how much the water rose over just that one night. Low-lying roads into Chaska and some surrounding areas south west of the Twin Cities were closed due to the high waters (and are still closed right now). Here's a couple shots of us by the bursting river banks last Saturday morning...

The railing you see mostly submerged in these photos runs along side the area we usually walk through under the bridge!! Pretty amazing to see, that's for sure.
