Twins ALDS - Game 1!

The Twins played their first post-season game at Target Field on Wednesday night (vs. The Yankees). About 4 p.m. (3.5 hours before first pitch) that day we managed to score two tickets to the game through Andrew's coworker Alissa. While the Twins were not victorious that night, we still had a fabulous time at the game. We sat in section 205 which is along the first base line closer to the outfield. It was 70+ degrees that day (cooler in the later innings) but man, you just can't ask for better outdoor baseball weather in Minnesota in October!





Andrew decided he needed to sport some Twins flare at the game so he settled on a batting helmet...isn't that fun?! Love it!







Here are some photos from the game. Good seats!! We also took a different route to downtown Minneapolis this time. Came in from the west (394) and discovered they have these three huge parking garages really close to the field. Apparently they were built at the same time as when Target Center (where Timberwolves NBA basketball is played) was built. You can tell we don't spend much time downtown if it took us five years of living in MN to discover them =) Anyhow, that made parking a real breeze! Super quick and convenient.





During the last couple innings, it got a little chilly/breezy. Ended up getting some hot chocolate in these cool twins travel mugs. We'll both be sporting those for our coffee drinking at work!



Dinner that night: dinger dogs and cheese curds. Perfect baseball game food...really hit the spot!
