Fun Weekend!

This past weekend flew by WAAAY too quickly. It turned out to be a weekend of repairs and rearranging. Our satellite receiver went ape on us last Wednesday so we had the repair guy out Saturday morning to get things back on track. He ended up taking our old receiver and giving us a new one. He also realigned our dish which has made a big difference (signal strength now 75% instead of 25%)! Also, my favorite Keurig coffee maker was acting kind of slow and clunky so I ran some vinegar through it friday night and it is working much better!

We had been brainstorming ideas for rearranging our living room for the past month or so. Finally on Saturday afternoon (after the Badger Victory!), we pulled the trigger and got things rearranged. And then yesterday, made some tweaks. We're now enjoying the more spacious new layout.

On the running scene, I got a couple nice 5K runs in on Saturday and Sunday. And a quick 27:17 5K run in tonight after work. Trying to kick back up the frequency of my runs this month; we'll see how all that goes?!

Apparently the apple orchards/pumpkin patches are fairing VERY well this fall. It was amazingly full at both the places near our house yesterday...people and cars everywhere. Guess I shouldn't be surprised, afterall look at the beautiful fall colors. Love it!

Also, the water levels around us are starting to go down. Sure was glad when this bridge road re-opened late last week. Has helped get traffic flow back to normal.

During our coffee walk around Chaska on Sunday we had a couple slithering snakes cross our path. Here's a photo of one of them...Yikes!! Just caught their movement out of the corner of the eye as we were walking on the path. Not a big fan of snakes; they were active little buggers.
