It is SUPER windy here today (30-40 mph wind gusts) - guess that will take away the rest of our beautiful leaves?! We have had such a lovely, lovely fall in Minnesota this year. Trying to bottle all this up and stow it away for the dead of winter when it is minus a million degrees =)
We are doing well here this week. I've been running during my lunch breaks the first three days this week. Today's run felt really good. My 5K time was 27:32 so right on track with my normal and really minimal pain in the hip so hopefully whatever "issue" was going on will just work its way out of the system over time. Starting to get excited about my next 5K race (Turkey Trot in mid-November)! Oh, and we had a fire drill at work today...yup, it was pretty random!
Andrew got to participate in a Habitat For Humanity project on Tuesday through work. The company arranges these volunteer opportunities so he decided to try it out. Sounds like he had a good time; another guy that works in the lab also was there so they had a good time working together!
