Sights From The Swamp

Part of our Saturday in Miami was spent on a fan boat tour in the Everglades. The boat was a bit too big for our preference (the 4 person version looked like a lot more fun) but we had a pretty good time. This was the first time Andrew and I ever visited the Everglades area so we thought it was neat to see. We cruised around the swap in the fan boat for maybe 30-40 minutes (with ear plugs) and saw some cool flowers, gators, birds and general wildlife action (see pictures below). Apparently the tours about 10 years ago used to be much more interactive with the guides wrestling with gators, feeding gators, that sort of thing. Our tour was pretty tame!
