Had a couple really random experiences today:
1) Have you ever tried to buy a product and found out at checkout that you couldn't buy it because there was a manufacturers recall on the product?? Well, that happened to us today at home depot. Andrew was buying some 12 gauge wire and one roll was ok; the second one...not so much. Made for quite the experience since we were trying to do "self checkout"...next thing you know there's four workers staring at the screen, making phone calls, etc. Followed by "sorry, you can't buy that one since it is on recall". Well, clearly we don't want to intentionally buy a recalled product (who does??) =) Got a good laugh out of that one.
2) At a stoplight waiting to turn when fancy white truck behind us gets rear-ended (loud smack). Quite the scene! Feel fortunate we were not the ones getting crunched.
Andrew's been busy working on the lift of his chair today (with good success). I was able to get out after lunch and get a two mile run in. It was HOT outside so I ran at a good clip...felt great!
