Spring has sprung

It is nice to see the flowers in bloom now; we had a very, very late spring here. It is still pretty cool in the evenings but at least we're hitting the 70s during the daytime lately. Here are a few photos of the flowering trees in our yard. The blooms don't stay around too long so must enjoy them while they're here!





In other happenings...we spent last friday night at Canterbury Park (horse racing action) which was fun; a great way to spent a summer evening enjoying the nice weather. Only a few sprinkles came through while we were there; but it left a beautiful rainbow in its aftermath. Hooray, memorial day weekend has arrived; bring on the summer!
