Golfing in Grinnell

We had a wonderful trip to Grinnell, IA friday/saturday this weekend. Andrew's niece Mary had her high school graduation party so we drove there to attend that and see the Stratford and Pick families!

Andrew and I got up early saturday morning and played 9 holes of golf at Oakland Acres - one of the golf courses there. I think it was about 50 degrees out while we were playing (a brisk morning out on the greens) so needless to say there weren't alot of other folks out on the course. Only a few sprinkles of rain; Andrew was happy to find a stocking hat in his coat pocket while we were golfing. That helped keep his head warm. Here are a few photos from our golf outing; it was a pretty challenging course, lots of par 4s and par 5s. We had a great time out!

We love your pictures of the stuff you do...and this event was just a few miles from our house. Fun..

As Jon said... again, we appreciated your visit so much. It was wonderful to have you around this past weekend. Next time maybe we'll have a basketball too for the courts across the street. :)

Take care and love to both of you.
