Andrew and I departed LA on Sunday, April 27 to head to Maui. That flight was quite uneventful, which was great. On our flight from Minneapolis to LA we ended up getting to experience an "emergency landing". Well, it wasn't as bad as the name implies - basically one of the back flaps on a wing wouldn't move into the right position so we had to go to a longer runway since we had to have a higher speed at landing. Lots of fire engines, emergency vehicles were waiting for us on the runway in case our brakes overheated. Our pilot said this was the second time in his 21 years of piloting that this had happened. Nice!
Once we arrived into Maui, we rented a car for the first few days of the trip to cruise around the island. We decided to try out the mustang convertible to take advantage of the nice weather! Here are a few more photos...
