The first three photos here are from dinner at Caffe Ciao (restaurant in our hotel) on tuesday night. It was very peaceful and as you can see - andrew had a combo dish with lots of different seafood items which he really enjoyed. I tried out the lobster tempura. For those of you (like me) who are big sushi fans - this is very similar to a typical shrimp tempura appetizer - but with lobster inside. Delicious!!

On thursday night, we decided to go to Nick's Fishmarket (also located in our hotel) to officially celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is supposedly one of the best seafood places on the island and it was indeed most excellent. It started off a bit rough with the waiter guy spilling 2/3 of Andrew's strawberry daquiri onto our table...he was lucky only a drop of the drink landed on andrew's shorts. So, they moved us to another table (with an awesome view of the sunset; shown below).

Andrew had a HUGE lobster for supper and I had one of my favorite seafood dishes - Ahi Tuna. Both were fabulous =)

Here was our dessert - something they called strawberry papprizzi. Man, talk about presentation - this dessert was an experience...flaming strawberries; yummy! Basically, they bring out plates and the waiter puts a clump of brown sugar on each plate and then literally makes a drawing (free hand) on each plate out of cream and chocolate syrup (mine was a flower; andrew's was a turtle). He then sets one goblet with liquor in it on fire and pours it back and forth between two glasses and then pours the flaming liquid into a platter of strawberries and brown sugar so the strawberries are slightly heated up and all the sugar carmelizes. Then once the flame burns out, you dip the strawberries in your cream/chocolate/sugar mixture - it was so cool to see and eat. If you look closely in the photo below you can actually see the flames coming off the strawberry platter.
