For our evening out last night I made some strawberry cheesecake cupcakes...delicious!
After some warmer weather earlier in the week, we received quite a bit of sleet yesterday. And now it is just plain cold and windy! Brrr! A couple of our favorite winter drinks lately are these McSteven's canisters of powdered eggnog and cocoa! We found the eggnog at the MN landscape arboretum this fall and enjoyed drinking some of that during Thanksgiving. And then during our trip to Vegas, we found the eggnog PLUS regular and gingerbread cocoa. Yummy! The cocoa is also quite tasty when you add a scoop or two of it to your cup of coffee and turn it into a mocha! A good way to warm up!
We are enjoying a lazy day around the house today watching lots of big ten football. Well, really we're waiting to watch the Badgers play in the Rosebowl...but it just so happens there are a TON of big ten teams playing today. Too bad more of them aren't putting on a better showing. Enjoyed catching a bit of the Rose Bowl parade earlier today including seeing the badger band marching. Rae Dawn - bet that brings back some fun memories for when you marched in the parade a couple times in college! Hopefully our team puts on a good show today! GO BADGERS!!!
