Vegas update

For our trip to Las Vegas last weekend we flew Southwest airlines. Love, love, love the fact that your bags fly free, especially after hearing the boat loads of money that our major local air carrier (delta) made off of baggage fees in 2010 (somewhere in the 3 billion dollar range if I'm remembering correctly). That is just awful given that it used to be something they did for free. So, we're trying to fly Southwest whenever we can for our fun trips.



We stayed at the Mirage this time. They have the beatles-themed show called Love that goes on there in the evenings so lots of beatles music is pumping through the property all time - along with the very brightly colored signage.



They have a nice sports bar area at the Mirage so we watched some of the Packers game there on Sunday and then watched the first half of the Vikings/Bears MNF game. We mainly enjoy playing roulette, blackjack and nickel/penny slots.
