First Major Snowfall

We had our first major snowfall of the season in mid-November; same weekend that our buddies Sarv and Andrew came to visit us from Milwaukee. Sarv and I were supposed to run a 5K and woke up to this snow business on saturday morning. Beautiful - but not good for race day so we traded in our racing shoes for some mugs filled with hot cocoa and coffee! This was SUPER thick, heavy snow and it hung around all the way up to our snow storm on the wednesday before thanksgiving.

The snow was coming down so fast and was soo sticky that we had to clean off our satellite dish two or three times that morning to keep reception for all the football games going on. Here's Andrew heading out there on our first go-round of the satellite sweep!

The weather forecast is calling for 6-8 inches of fluffy snow this afternoon/evening in our area; we'll see how much we actually get!!
