My April book of the month was titled "Modoc". It is based on a true story about the life of an AMAZING elephant (Modoc) and his friend/handler (Bram). My buddy Megan recommended the book to me since she knows i'm obsessed with elephants. I was able to get through the last 2/3 of the book this week during my airport trekking on Monday and Tuesday. I really enjoyed both the story and the way it was written; a quick read but a very good read. Loved it!
Next on my reading list is the third lord of the rings book (Return of the King). Should make some progress on that during our plane rides during our upcoming vacation.
