What's new with us these days...?
Andrew and I had a pretty low-key weekend which is exactly what we needed. We got out friday night and went to dinner at Suzette's; we both had the fish special which was sol fish stuffed with salmon and scallops. Of course we also had to have their most excellent soup. Everything was delicious. We then watched an old movie with Sean Connery and Donald Sutherland called "The Great Train Robbery" which was quite good.
On Saturday we watched the badger football team play. Later that afternoon, the Munson's came over for a visit; got to take a walk around the neighborhood, ate dinner together and Tricia and I got to watch the boys put on a band concert downstairs with lots of fun drumming and guitar playing action!
Sunday we took our normal walk through Chaska (coffee drinking) and managed to get caught in a rain storm. One rain droplet on my sleeve quickly turned into strong down pour. Of course, we were too far away from anywhere to seek shelter so we just hovered under trees and waited for it to pass. Then continued our walking loop after that. Made for an interesting morning walk. Of course, we had to watch at least part of the Jets game Sunday afternoon to see Brett Favre in his new "other" green uniform. Strange to see.
We're looking forward to the Packers vs. Vikings game tonight!!! More another time...
