This morning we were a little too close to some driving chaos. An over-zealous driver tried to weave in and out of traffic and his car couldn't keep up with him. Huge black marks on the road and a 360 degree spin into the ditch. We watched the whole thing happen right in front of our eyes. Only one other car was closer than us...somehow he avoided hitting anyone. Sure got our hearts-a-pumping.
Then on our drive back home we got experience the lovely Renaissance Festival traffic action. Seems to happen about once a summer where we sit in traffic south of Shakopee. Finally about 25 minutes later we cleared the jam-up and could continue at a normal clip on our way home. Here's a shot of the traffic action:

And, last weekend we got to see a HUGE SEMI PARADE. Well, that's what we're calling it. This is the second time since moving here we saw this kind of thing cruise by Belle Plaine. We counted 60+ semis in succession with cop cars on each end. Good thing all the semis took the same exit as us so we had to squeeze into the middle of their little parade!
