Weekend Action

We had a wonderful weekend; lots of good weather and warm temps to take in. We got out on the golf green for 18 holes and had a fabulous time. It is such a great feeling when you finally conquer a certain hole that you typically have a challenging time with. Guess practice does make (closer to) perfect!

It appears the unpredictable minnesota summer weather has arrived. Here are a few photos from the saturday evening storm that rolled through. Lots of crazy looking sky and lightning action. However, all the bad weather rolled south of us, which we were thankful for!

We spent more time this weekend out working in the yard; I think I mentioned in a previous post all the new rocks we put in a few weeks back. Anyhow we mowed the lawn, treated the lawn and put down some new mulch this weekend. Still need a little more mulch in the front yard and then heaps for the backyard but it is at least a good start. Here are a few recent photos of our house. Good to see the trees in our yard finally getting bigger. We put in a small fire pit early last summer in our rocky area so are looking forward to using that for some fun summer evening activities!
