I played in an ag marketing golf outing yesterday and the wildlife was out in full force. Check out this little deer that was at the first and second holes that we played at. Tiny and cute...but really didn't seemed phased by the golf balls flying at it (repeatedly). It is a little hard to see in the first photo but the deer is that brown spot you see on the green right next to the white flag pin. Just standing right in the middle of the green we were aiming at. We also saw a beautiful pheasant in one of the wooded areas (but no photos of that).
My golf game yesterday was average; a few nice putts and drives, but still need to work on the mid-game. I did manage to win the longest putt competition for women so that was exciting. It was an AMAZING day to be out on the golf greens - a perfect summer day!
