Whew, this week has been intense! Just can't seem to get caught up. Good thing tomorrow is friday =) Still trying to get used to driving to work and home from work in the dark. Just doesn't seem right?! Welcome to winter I guess.
We still have quite a bit of snow on the ground here which is kind of surprising. Know we'll be in for more again soon. Just have that feeling it is going to be a very snowy winter here. Guess if that's the case we can get lots of use out of our nice snow thrower!
Big news in town this week is that the new Coborn's grocery store opened up yesterday. Of course, we couldn't resist going there to do a little pre-thanksgiving shopping. Lots and lots of people there checking it out. Survey says: it is fantastic. There's a pharamacy, a bakery, a deli, liquor store, gas station...amazing. Little Belle Plaine just got a BIG upgrade. And, they even loaded our groceries into the car for us. Now that's service! So convenient, so close. Sooo glad it is finally open. We will not miss that seven mile trek to Jordan for groceries.
We're planning to have a low-key weekend here just catching up on things and getting ready for all our holiday visitors next week for turkey day festivities.
