Vegas Vacation

To celebrate Andrew's 30th birthday, we headed to Las Vegas for a three day weekend. We had a blast and the weather was superb. On our drive to the airport it was 30 degrees below zero...and it was 65 degees above zero in Las Vegas the day we arrived. A perfect time to escape the freezing Minnesota winter!

We got a good deal at the Bellagio so that's where we stayed this time. It is in a really nice central location on the strip. We didn't go to any shows, mainly just did a little bit of gambling (black jack, roulette and slots) and spent the rest of the time relaxing or walking around the strip to see what was new since last time we were there. Lots of construction/building projects going on right now including a new city center area (next to the bellagio) which costs $9 billion.

On the saturday night we ate at a restaurant called "Fix" located in our hotel (per the recommendation of our buddies Megan and Dan)and it was delicous. We shared a porter house steak and had a side of mushrooms and this delicious thing called "lobster mash" which basically had lobster sauce and little mini chunks of lobster inside the mashed potatoes. Highly recommend that; super good!

Here's a collection of some photos from our trip:
