It was great to see all the wonderful sunshine this weekend. We ended up spending friday night at Canterbury Park watching some horse racing action. It was a great night to be outside. We kept picking all the right horses, but a $2 bet never really returns that much $$!!
Most of saturday afternoon was spent on the golf green up the hill at ValleyView golf course. Played 18 holes and then relaxed the rest of the night...all the sun wore us out. Today was very low-key. Got a few thing done around the house and discovered "staring lake" in eden prairie. We drove past an entrace to the park while we were out and about this morning. Turns out they have a nice walk/bike path all around the lake so we took a nice walk. It is hard to believe labor day is only a week away.
Here are a few photos from our afternoon on the links...on more than one occasion we spent way too much time in the rough...and with all the recent rain the rough was VERY rough =) Our golf games were pretty rusty.
