Last sunday we decided to check out the art fairs going on in Minneapolis. We took the light rail from bloomington and went to Loring Park and then to Uptown. The two areas were much different. Loring Park was more quaint, lots of greenery and flowers and lots of watercolor type paintings, etc. Uptown had more impressive, unique artwork (paintings, sculptures, you name it) but it was quite busy there and more of a city feel. Glad we checked both of them out - a fun way to spend the day. We didn't purchase anything - just had fun window shopping!
The humpty-dumpty art was one of our favorites =)
Another highlight of the day was watching Andrew eat the HUGE snow cone at Loring Park. And yes, this was the one and only size available!
