Andrew and I had a nice relaxing weekend (thank goodness). The work week was a bit chaotic with me being gone monday-thursday at a training conference in Miami, FL...and Andrew's had a lot of busy project work going on so we were happy to see the weekend arrive so we could spend some quality time hanging out together!
I actually got to unwillingly participate in that mass power-outage in florida last tuesday afternoon. We were just starting up our afternoon session when the power went out...all the way up to Orlando. Thankfully it only took a couple hours for the power to be restored.
Then, my thursday night travels were severely delayed due to bad weather in MSP. Ended up going to the Madison airport to refuel the plane and sit on the tarmac for 1.5 hrs. Finally after 7.5 hrs on the plane we were back in MSP and got to deboard. I was soo happy to be done with all that!
We picked up a new game for our Wii which is a collection of olympic sports competitions. Track and field, diving, swimming, gymnastics, shooting, that kind of thing. It is quite fun once you get the hang of it.
