Fall is in the air

I've been a bit of an absent blogger this month, lots going on - just not much making it into our blog...halloween is just around the corner. That always reminds me of fun times dressing up when I was younger. Good stuff!

Nothing says fall/halloween like a big pile of candy corn!

This is one of our most favorite times of the year. The leaves changing color, piles of crunchy leaves under your feet, even the smell in the air is soo relaxing. Hope it stays like this for a while before the winter sets in.

I think we're officially prepared for halloween now. Check out our pile of candy; should be no shortage of goodies if we get any trick-o-treat visitors this year.

We spent some of the weekend just cleaning up the house a bit which was good. Our buddies Joe and Tricia came over on saturday to visit for a while so that was of course heaps of fun. We have come to grips with the fact the badger football team is TERRIBLE this year. At least the packers had a good showing yesterday. We've accepted the fact it isn't a stellar year for Wisconsin sports - there's always next year, right? We're in the midst of finalizing our trip to Columbus, OH for early November to see Andrew's sister Heather and her family. Should be a nice big Pick family get-together. More another time!
