Are you ready for some football??

It is amazing that it is NFL playoff time already. It seems like just a few weeks ago Andrew and I were getting pumped up about the start of college football season. Now all the college football bowl games have concluded and the packers are in the second round of the playoffs. Has time really flown by that fast since August?? Seems like a bit of a blur...We're looking forward to seeing the packers play later today.

We're having a relaxing weekend; doing some reorganizing of the house which is always a fun process. Our computer room was in severe need of an overhaul so we've now moved around the desks and have a much better arrangement. Dare I say it might even be a comfortable/cozy room now. That certainly wasn't the case before.

Andrew turns 29 next week so that is exciting. We don't have any huge plans for his birthday but will try to get our for dinner and just spend a nice quiet evening together which is definitely the way we like it.

Lexus has been the queen of lap napping lately. Seems like 2 seconds after we prop up our legs and cuddle up with a blanket to watch tv, she's already making herself comfortable on our laps. She is a sweet little thing, that's for sure. We've had her for 4 years now...it is fun to think back on when we brought her home from the pet store in milwaukee; she was only 10 weeks old. Soo tiny and precious! We just love watching her race around the house; no shortage of energy with her, that's for sure.

Lexus is such a beautiful cat.

Bethany and I just got finished reading a book called "Nine Lives: Emerald, Amber, and Jet". It's a book broken up into three sections. Each section is broken up into three chapters and each of those sections is about one of three above mentioned cats... it was a book Bethany's teacher gave to us to read because she knew Bethany loved cats. We really enjoyed reading the book. It was fun to imagine the kittens in each story. The stories were told from the kittens perspective.

Anyway...Bethany is now running around the house with our kitty fishing line with the bell and shiny tassel at the end of it and having a ball with it.

Unfortunately, now is her bedtime though, so we'll have to stop the game.

Sounds like you guys are just having too much fun these days. You sound so relaxed about life. I can't really recall life without kids. It's been about 19 years since then. Ha.

Hope you both have a wonderful week.
